Stuck on something? Most questions are answered below. If you can't find what you need, email us directly and we'll get back to you.
No. Desca has no sign-up and no login. Open the app and everything is ready to use right away.
Yes, for almost everything. Notes, timers, alarms, goals, and Apple Intelligence AI features all work fully offline. The only feature that needs a one-time internet connection is downloading the optional on-device AI model, and restoring a previous purchase.
This means Apple Intelligence isn't turned on for your device and the optional local AI model hasn't been downloaded yet. Go to Settings → On-Device AI in Desca, or turn on Apple Intelligence in your iPhone's own Settings app, then tap the refresh icon in Desca.
No. Whichever AI path is used, Apple Intelligence or the local model, your note text is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it.
The on-device model is around 475MB, since it's a full language model running locally rather than a lightweight call to a server. We'd recommend downloading it on Wi-Fi.
Check that notifications are allowed for Desca in your iPhone's Settings app, and that Focus/Do Not Disturb isn't set to silence alarms. Desca uses Apple's own AlarmKit system to ring alarms, the same system Apple's Clock app uses, so if Clock alarms work on your phone, Desca's will too.
Go to Settings → Your Data → "Reset stuck timers/widgets" in Desca. This clears any leftover Live Activity without affecting your saved notes, goals, or history.
Yes, tap the photo icon in the note editor. This uses the system photo picker, so Desca never gets broader access to your photo library, just the specific photo you choose.
Flashcards are filed under the note's subject. Review them from the Timer tab's Focus section by selecting that subject.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple, not inside Desca. Open your iPhone's Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Mythic Pass, and cancel from there.
Purchases are tied to your Apple ID. Open Settings in Desca and look for a "Restore Purchases" option, or reinstall the app while signed into the same Apple ID you originally purchased with.
Try Restore Purchases first, and make sure you're connected to the internet. If it still isn't showing up, email us with your Apple order receipt and we'll help sort it out.
Go to Settings → Your Data → "Export my data." This saves a file you can AirDrop or save to Files, then use "Import data" on your new device to bring everything back in.
Yes. Since everything is stored only on your device, uninstalling Desca removes your notes, flashcards, and goals along with it. Export a backup first if you want to keep a copy.
Try fully closing Desca (swipe it away from the App Switcher) and reopening it. If a specific AI response seems stuck, wait a few seconds first, on-device generation can take a moment depending on your device.
Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Desca, and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Also check the individual toggles inside Desca's own Settings screen, since each notification type (goal check-ins, streaks, reminders) can be turned on or off separately.
Email us at support@cocial.in and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. It helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version, and a quick description of what happened.
