The agreement between you and Desca for using the app.
Last updated: 12/09/26
The short version: Desca is free to download and use. A few optional themes and a subscription are available if you want them, but nothing is required to use the core app, and there's no account to worry about.
By downloading, installing, or using Desca, you're agreeing to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the app. We've tried to keep this document short and readable rather than filled with legal filler, because we'd genuinely like you to actually read it.
Desca is a personal productivity app for timers, alarms, goals, notes, flashcards, and document scanning, along with optional on-device AI features. There is no account system and no login. You're free to use the app as an individual for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to use Desca in any way that violates applicable laws, attempts to reverse engineer or tamper with the app beyond what's permitted by the App Store's own rules, or interferes with other people's ability to use the app.
Desca offers a set of optional visual themes, purchasable individually, as a bundle, or through an auto-renewing subscription called Mythic Pass. Here's how each one works:
| Item | Type | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Individual theme | One-time purchase | A single paid theme |
| Normal Bundle | One-time purchase | All Normal-tier themes |
| Mythic Pass | Auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly | All Mythic-tier themes, for as long as the subscription is active |
| Lifetime Unlock | One-time purchase | Every theme, permanently |
All purchases are billed through your Apple ID and processed by Apple. Mythic Pass automatically renews each month unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings app, under your Apple ID subscriptions.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy anything, and payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their own policies, not by us directly, since we never process payments ourselves.
Anything you create in Desca, your notes, flashcards, scanned documents, goals, and timer history, belongs to you. It's stored locally on your device and we don't claim any ownership over it. Because it lives only on your phone, you're responsible for backing it up if you want a copy, which you can do using the export option in Settings.
We work to keep Desca running smoothly, but like any app, features may change, improve, or occasionally break as we update it. On-device AI features depend on your device's hardware and on Apple's own frameworks, so availability of those specific features can vary from phone to phone.
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the app over time. If a change meaningfully affects something you've paid for, we'll do our best to handle that fairly.
Desca is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to your specific needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data stored locally on your device. Since your content lives only on your phone, please keep your own backups of anything important to you.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time as the app evolves. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Desca after a change means you accept the updated terms.
