Sircle Networking Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Tap Cricket mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.
By downloading or using the App you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
What you provide directly
- Display name and avatar chosen during onboarding
- Organisation name (college, company, or school) which is entirely optional
- Email address and profile photo, collected only when you sign in with Google or Apple
- City notes you write as a throne holder (optional)
Generated by your activity
- Match results, scores, wickets, and difficulty levels for both solo and multiplayer games
- City conquest records and throne holder status
- Tournament history and league standings
- Daily play streaks and achievement unlocks
- Season points and leaderboard ranking
Multiplayer and PvP activity
- Your display name and avatar are transmitted in real time to your opponent during live PvP matches
- A temporary matchmaking queue entry (containing your display name, avatar, and skill tier) is created while you search for an opponent, and is deleted as soon as a match is found or cancelled
- Private room codes are stored temporarily for the duration of the match and deleted once the match concludes or expires
- PvP match outcomes are recorded against your profile and contribute to your season points and leaderboard ranking

- Anonymised usage events including screen views and feature interactions via PostHog, collected only with your consent

- To understand which features are being used so we can improve the App, subject to your analytics consent
- To maintain your account and sync data across your devices

Microsoft Azure Content Safety
Automated moderation of profile photos you upload, used to detect and block inappropriate imagery before storage. Photos are processed by Microsoft and are not retained by them after the safety check completes. If the service is temporarily unavailable, your photo upload will still be accepted without the automated check.

Tap Cricket is a social game. The following information is visible to other players as a core part of gameplay:
- Your display name and avatar are shown to your opponent during real-time multiplayer matches. This is how PvP matches work and cannot be disabled while playing online
- Your display name, avatar, and season points appear on global and city leaderboards
- Your display name appears as the throne holder on a city page when you hold it
- Any organisation name you optionally add is shown alongside your name on leaderboards
- City notes you write are visible to other players viewing that city
About multiplayer data: When you join a PvP match, your display name and avatar are shared with your opponent in real time. Your opponent's data is shared with you on the same basis. Match scores become part of your public leaderboard record once the match concludes.
You can change your display name at any time in Settings. Organisation names and city notes can be removed at any time within the App.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
- Match history including PvP match records is retained for up to 12 months on our servers
- Matchmaking queue entries are deleted immediately after a match is found, cancelled, or times out
- Anonymised analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months
- Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days
To delete your account, go to Settings then Delete Account within the App.
Tap Cricket is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 may only use the App with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without such consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at support@cocial.in and we will delete it promptly.
For users in the European Economic Area under the age of 16, we rely on parental consent as the lawful basis for processing personal data, in accordance with GDPR.

- Row-level security policies on our database so users can only access their own data
- Automated photo content moderation before storage
- No storage of sensitive authentication credentials on our servers
- Personal data is removed from crash reports before transmission to our monitoring service
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
App updates: The App uses Expo's over-the-air update system, which may deliver JavaScript bundle updates silently in the background without requiring a full app store update. These updates may include bug fixes, performance improvements, or minor feature changes. Updates that materially change data collection or privacy practices will always be accompanied by a revised Privacy Policy and an updated "Last updated" date.
